Pomeranians, Shih-Tzus, Shih-Poms | Pomutts Puppy Playpen

We are a retired couple living in the Heart of the Land of Enchantment in McIntosh, New Mexico. Between us, we have over 100 years experience breeding, raising and loving dogs. We went from Chico, and wolf shepherd mixes to Gypsy, and border collies, to little cockapoos.

When we retired and moved to New Mexico, we met and fell in love with a Pomeranian and just had to have a few of our own. Then we met and fell in love with a Shih Tzu and had to have a few of them. Who can have just one? They are very addictive. They make our life complete. I can't imagine life without pets. They are great entertainment and you don't have to pay a cable bill. They make the best companions because they don't care what you are doing they just want to be with you. Next to God and Mama only a pet can love you unconditionally. They are very loyal and will never leave you for a younger, better looking person. They love cuddling up to keep you warm.

We have been breeding Pomeranians and Shih Tzu for nine years. They keep us busy enough that we don't have time to set around and count our wrinkles, or listen to our hair fall out. We are just happy to do what we love and that is improving our breeds through responsible selective breeding. There are champions in our Pomeranian blood line but we don't use it as an excuse to charge more money for our puppies. We want to build happy, healthy, affordable puppies with great dispositions. We want puppies that a child can grow up with, or a senior citizen can grow old with and be their best friends. If we can accomplish this then we have raised champions.
